Another

I just finished singing in the fall concert series of the Rocky Mountain Chamber Singers, wonderfully conducted by David Dunbar, and decided to share another choral work. This is digitally realized so the diction is not realistic but I think it represents the musical elements of the work pretty well overall . This is the first movement of a multi-movement work for a cappella mixed choir based upon the hymn text by Joachim Neander as translated into englich by Catherine Winkworth, Praise to the Lord. Each verse is a different movement in the character of the text. Here’s the first movement which creates a call to all creatures to join a chorus of adoration.
